Diversity in Our Content
As a site that provides information about sweepstakes casinos, we recognize that our content must be inclusive and relevant to a diverse audience. We strive to:
- Feature a diverse range of perspectives and voices in our content. In the past year, 40% of our featured experts and interviewees were women, 30% were people of color, and 10% were LGBTQ+.
- Ensure that our casino reviews and recommendations are relevant to players of all backgrounds. We regularly review our content to ensure it is accessible and inclusive.
- Avoid stereotypes or assumptions about different groups in our content. All content goes through a rigorous editorial process that includes a diversity review.
- Use inclusive language that doesn’t alienate or offend any group.
We also recognize that gambling can affect different communities in different ways. We are committed to providing responsible gambling resources that are relevant and accessible to all players.
Accountability and Improvement
We know that diversity, equity, and inclusion are ongoing commitments, not one-time achievements. We are dedicated to continuously assessing and improving our DEI efforts.
Some of the steps we are taking include:
- Regularly reviewing the diversity of our team and setting goals for improvement. Our goal for the next year is to increase representation of Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities on our team.
- Providing DEI training and resources for all employees. All team members complete annual DEI training.
- Engaging with diverse communities to better understand their needs and perspectives. We are launching a community advisory board to guide our content and practices.
- Conducting regular audits of our content to ensure it is inclusive and respectful. We complete a full content audit every six months.
- Being transparent about our DEI efforts and progress, including through annual updates to this diversity report.
We welcome feedback and suggestions from our readers on how we can better live up to our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Please feel free to reach out to us at diversity@onlysweeps.com.
